Conditions for goods ordered on line for local free delivery from AIC (Anglo Indian Chef Ltd)

By placing an order and using a valid AIC promo code the customer is accepting AIC promo code conditions as specified below (this does not effect your statuary rights).

  • Orders using the Promo code are for private individual use only and cannot be used for commercial/catering orders.
  • Only orders quoting a valid AIC promo code are eligible for the discount and free shipping covered by the promo code printed on the flier.
  • Free delivery offer applies only to addresses within the EX31, EX32 or EX39 postcode areas that have received promo code fliers direct from Anglo Indian Chef Ltd.
  • Promo code validity and closing date for particular offers will be published on the AIC website Special offers and promotions page.
  • Discount offered using the promo code overrides and excludes all other offers on the Anglo Indian Chef website.
  • Out of stock items will be deducted from the order and appropriate refund made to the customer if there is no agreeable substitute (Customer would be contacted by email or phone).
  • AIC reserves the right to decline any order for whatever reason and will refund payments made by the customer who's orders we refuse to accept.


  • Payment for orders must be made in full by PayPal or BAC's (electronic bank transfer) before delivery of the order.
  • We do not at this time accept credit/debit card payments and cannot receive payments by phone.

Right to cancel

  • Orders may be cancelled by the customer by notifying Anglo Indian Chef Ltd by email at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. (Giving the order number, name of customer and delivery address). 
  • If the order has been received by but then cancelled by the customer the products must be returned to AIC in the same condition as dispatched by AIC, unopened and undamaged at the customers expense to: AIC Unit 2a Alverdiscott Rd Ind Est Bideford Devon EX39 4LQ unopened (proof of posting should be obtained).
  • Refunds for returned or cancelled items will normally be made within seven working days of items being received at AIC by PayPal or BAC’s according to the customers original payment method. Please note: We may need to contact the customer for banking details for BAC’s refunds.

Refunds for faulty products

  • Refunds for faulty products can only be made on food products that are unopened and unused. Customers receiving faulty products or missing items will be offered replacements, agreed substitutes or refunds, details will vary on a case by case basis.

Delivery and receiving orders

  • Delivery will be within approximately one week (subject to availability) of the order being paid for. If for whatever reason there may be a delay of more than one week in processing an order affected customers will be notified by email.

If no one is in to receive the delivery

  • If no one is in at time delivery orders will be left with a neighbour or in a safe place only as indicated by the customer when placing the order. 
  • The customer takes full responsibility for orders left in a safe place or neighbour specified by them when placing the order.
  • A card will be left notifying the customer of the delivery location and time. If we are unable to make the delivery the customer should contact AIC by email as directed on the failed delivery card to arrange redelivery.

Out of stock items

  • Out of stock items will be deducted from the order and appropriate refund made to the customer if there is no agreeable substitute (Customer would be contacted by email or phone).

Anglo Indian Chef Ltd reserves the right to decline any order or end a promotion for whatever reason without notice.
