Biryani and mild vegetable curry
Sachet containing unique dehydrated curry base sauce (Onion, garlic Tomato Paprica, Turmeric) mixed with vegetable curry spices as listed below.
Biryani Rice: Basmati rice, Coriander, Turmeric, Mustard, Bengal Gram, Salt, Fenugreek, Fennel, Cinnamon, Ginger, Garlic Powder, Black Pepper, Cloves, Bay leaf, Nutmeg, Almonds, Sultanas, Methi Leaf.
Recipe (Serves 4-6)
To make Biryani you will need the following additional ingredients:
250g chicken, or alternatively lamb, eggs, or mixed veg, + 400g mixed veg for the vegetable curry
5 tbsp vegetable oil or ghee
2 sliced boiled eggs,
2 cooked chopped tomatoes
1 chopped onion, fried until translucent
1 tbsp tomato purée
2 tbsp chopped coriander for the garnish
½ cup of milk or water
1 ½ tsp salt
For the marinade: 2 tbsp yoghurt and 1 tsp spoon (6-10ml) lemon juice
